Effective from April 1, 2025, Mari has started her role as Senior Managing Director, Global Business Unit, NAM, and Chief Executive Officer of Nomura Asset Management U.K. Limited.
Mari joined Nomura Asset Management Co., Ltd. (NAM) in 2007 as an account manager.
In 2018, she transitioned the Overseas Business Strategy Dept. where she held managerial positions involved in planning and support activities for NAM’s overseas registered funds and institutional client business. Mari was subsequently appointed Head of the International Business Management Dept. in 2020, and thereafter Head of the Advisory Fund Management Dept. in 2022. In 2024, she was promoted to Senior Managing Director, overseeing the Alternative & Advisory Investment Management Unit.
