Alexandre is the portfolio manager of the credit strategy of the Brazilian office of Compass Group. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Theoharidis worked as analyst and co-manager at Navi Capital in the team responsible for managing high-yield credit funds. Previously, from 2015 to 2020, he worked at the asset management unit of Banco Genial (at the time, Banco Brasil Plural) as a senior credit and real estate analyst. Between 2014 and 2015, he worked in Belgravia Family Office as an analyst focused on offshore (ex-Brazil) investment opportunities. Mr. Theoharidis started his career in financial markets in 2010, at Safdié Gestão de Patrimônio, initially as an intern in the funds of funds department, then being promoted to credit analysis, a position which was held until the end of 2013.
Alexandre holds a bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from the Escola Politécnica da USP, a master’s degree in Economics from Insper, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
