Tomás is a Partner and Head of Private & Public Credit LatAm at Vinci Compass. He was previously Chief Investment Officer at Compass, and Co-Portfolio Manager of the Latin American Corporate Debt Strategies. He was prior Head of Credit for the company since 2016. Previously, he was Deputy Manager of the Investment Strategies Team in Chile in 2006. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Fixed Income Trader and Analyst for Principal Financial Group’s insurance company. Earlier in his career, he was an Equity Trader and Analyst for Principal Financial Group’s mutual fund company in 2002.
Tomás has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Los Andes.
